Numerology is based on the idea that everything in the universe, as both made up of and affected by numbers. Numerology is used as the letters in your name and the numbers in your date of birth in order to provide guidance to their true nature, his desires and your destiny. In numerology, the number in his name and date of birth in its fold, to reach a single digit, which is then analyzed to reveal the meaning. Using your full name, parts of his name and date of birth in many different combinations can reveal who you are and who you have become.

Numerology is probably the simplest of all forms of the mathematics, since it involves only addition. The method also used in numerology, however, slightly different from the one you are most likely accustomed to.

Numerology is used "Fadic system" to reduce the number of digits of a number. With this style also, you continue to add two numbers until you arrive at single number. For example, instead of seeing the number 23 as the twenty-three, it is seen as its individual parts of 2 and 3. With a natural addition, you add two numbers to come up with single number:

23 = 2 + 3 = 5

Here is another example using the number 15 (or broken into its individual digits, 1 and 5):

15 = 1 + 5 = 6

This same principal holds true for larger numbers too. Let's take the year 1967 (or 1, 9, 6, & 7):

1967 = 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23

This example is a little more complex, because your answer is a two digit number. This means that it must be reduced further until you wind up with a single digit number. So, you would take your answer of 23 (or 2 & 3 ) and get:

2 + 3 = 5

So the whole equation would look like:

1967 = 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23 = 2 + 3 = 5

Once you have mastered the concept of natural addition, the calculations are very simple. Try these practice exercises to see how you do:

1. Reduce the following numbers to a single digit:

a) 143 = 1 + 4 + 3 = 8

b) 46 = 4 + 6 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1

c) 1954 = 1 + 9 + 5 + 4 = 19 = 1 + 9 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1

d) 309 = 3 + 0 + 9 = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3

e) 52 = 5 + 2 = 7
